Amala Paul recently revealed that she never disclosed her identity as an actress to Jagat during the early stages of their relationship. Speaking after winning the Critics’ Award for Best Actress at the JFW Movie Awards, she shared intimate details about how their bond unfolded away from the spotlight.
‘Jagat and I met in Goa,’ she said. ‘Though he’s Gujarati, he was settled there. I told him I was from Kerala, but he wasn’t someone who watched many South Indian films.’
She explained that during their courtship, she kept her career under wraps. ‘I didn’t tell him I was an actress. I gave him access to a private Instagram account. Later, I found out I was pregnant, and we got married soon after.’
Actress Amala Paul recently attended a private college’s sports day event as a special guest and left a lasting impression on students. Videos of her interacting, dancing, and offering thoughtful advice to the students have been shared on her Instagram page and are now going viral across social media.
Once a prominent figure in Tamil and Malayalam cinema, Amala Paul took a step back from acting after her marriage and has since limited her film appearances. Following the recent birth of her child, she has not signed any new projects except for one ongoing Malayalam film.

The trailer gives a hint that the film unfolds in two timelines, with Amala’s character narrating her tale to Asif Ali’s character.

Shinata Chauhan from Uttar Pradesh also made it big and emerged as Miss India 2022 second runner-up.
As part of her homecoming, Femina Miss India 2022 second runner-up Shinata Chauhan visited her alma maters – Cambridge School, Srinivaspuri, and Maharaja Agrasen College, where she is pursuing Journalism and Mass Communication (Hons). From sharing her success mantra to signing autographs for students, Shinata reflected on her journey with her friends and teachers.
Pragnya, who was born and raised in Hyderabad, was crowned Miss Supranational India 2022 in Mumbai by the reigning queen Ritika Khatnani. One year later Pragnya headed to Poland as the proud and purposeful Indian representative, she went on to secure a place in the Top 12 and clinched the continental title of Miss Supranational Asia 2023, which marked the second consecutive win for India.
Pragnya is a 20-year-old fashion design student, who is a nature enthusiast. A trained Bharatanatyam dancer, Pragnya loves K-dramas. The beauty queen, who will now represent India at the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant aspires to start a sustainable fashion brand as she feels for the cause and wants to create awareness for conserving the environment.
