Dharmendra, one of the biggest stars of our cinema, has remained a beloved icon for decades. Known for his strong screen presence and versatile acting, Dharmendra’s films continue to resonate with fans across generations. Debuting in 1960 with Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere, he quickly rose to fame with a series of hits like Sholay, Dost, Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Seeta Geeta, Chupke Chupke, and The Burning Train. His ability to blend action, romance, and drama made him a household name, and his legacy remains intact. Yet, today, we focus on one film that, despite having a rocky start, went on to become a major success.

Dharmendra, popularly known as the action king of Bollywood, created a ruckus at the box office in 1987. He single-handedly captured the box office in one stroke, knocking down Amitabh Bachchan and Rajesh Khanna. Hukumat: This 1987 action-drama directed by Anil Sharma starring Dharmendra and Rati Agnihotri in lead roles, became the highest-grossing film. It has also received highly positive response from critics and was remade in Tamil as Puthiya Vaanam.

The grand finale of Miss India 2022 was held on July 3 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. Sini Shetty from Karnataka was crowned Miss India 2022, while Rubal Shekhawat from Rajasthan was announced the first runner-up at the pageant. Shinata Chauhan from Uttar Pradesh also made it big and emerged as Miss India 2022 second runner-up.

As part of her homecoming, Femina Miss India 2022 second runner-up Shinata Chauhan visited her alma maters – Cambridge School, Srinivaspuri, and Maharaja Agrasen College, where she is pursuing Journalism and Mass Communication (Hons).
